The Lion Hotel can be found in the heart of the Welsh town of Criccieth and is ideally located for guests that are looking to explore the Llyn Peninsular and Snowdon. Our hotel dates back to the 18th Century and has stunning views of the Welsh mountains and coast.
All of the hotel rooms have been decorated and furnished to ensure that they are different and individual. They range from antique furnished twin bedded rooms to contemporary suites with adjoining rooms for families. All of the guest rooms have the following facilities:

Some have super king size double beds, which can be split into twin beds if needed. The independence of these rooms makes them especially popular with both our business guests and golfers.

Live entertainment and quiz nights are also on offer at various points throughout the year. A large selection of home cooked dishes and snacks can be ordered every day from noon. Indulge yourself with any of our Fairtrade hot beverages and a selection of cakes and pastries. The separate Snug Bar is the ideal place for residents and their guests to enjoy an aperitif or a quiet, late night tipple. Free Wi-Fi access is also available for all guests throughout the bar areas.
