Gwesty Marine Hotel is located on the picturesque promenade of Aberystwyth in Ceredigion. Gwesty Marine is a relaxed, friendly hotel close enough to the town centre but away from the hustle and bustle of town life.
The Marine is an ideal place to stay while exploring this beautiful part of Mid Wales and what better way to enjoy the amazing sunsets over Cardigan Bay than in one of our many refurbished, comfortable en suite bedrooms.
At the hotel we aim to provide all of our guests with excellent facilities, home cooked traditional food and warm friendly service.
We have 60 individually designed bedrooms and apartments within the hotel from single, double or twin rooms, family rooms sleeping from 3 to 6 persons, deluxe rooms with four poster beds & jacuzzi bath, and accessible rooms - we have something to suite everyone here at the Marine! Many of our rooms offer spectacular sea views of Cardigan Bay In addition to the main hotel, we have an annex building called The Atlantic where we offer large spacious bedrooms - ideal for those traveling with large families; a reunion of friends or those wanting an extra space during your getaway. For those wanting the luxury of a hotel room, but with the additional facilities to prepare simple meals, we have our special 'Apart hotel'.
For an extra celebration or just a treat we can arrange a champagne breakfast in bed or flowers delivered to your room on arrival!
Every bedroom in the hotel is en suite, with crisp cotton sheets, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron, telephone and free Wi-Fi availability.

What better way to unwind after a long day of sight seeing or a busy working day than to have a leisurely drink in our public bar watching the sun set over Cardigan Bay. We offer a wide range of delicious home made bar meals served lunchtime and evenings.
We also have a secure garage lock up beneath the Hotel, where we welcome any motorbikes for those of you passing through Aberystwyth.
With over 30 years experience in hosting weddings and functions we are aware that every event is unique and special. This knowledge has earned us the reputation as being one of the premier venues in Ceredigion.
We understand that organising conferences and functions require a high level of care and attention to detail, which is why we pride ourselves on our facilities and function rooms at the Marine. both the Atlantic Ballroom and Dining Room have wireless internet access, air conditioning and a P.A. system.
