Beckford House offers wonderful guest house accommodation in the famous city of Bath. We are perfect for a relaxing and peaceful break in a beautiful part of Somerset.
Our spacious property features original paintings and sculptures collected over the years. We have two elegant guest rooms to choose from on the first floor, reached by a flight of fifteen stairs.
Room 1: This beautiful room comes with a king size double with en suite facilities and a WC. The room comes has a corniced ceiling, original Victorian marble mantelpiece and a large sash window which looks over the hills and Beechen Cliff. There is also a wall-mounted Freesat TV with a digital radio and an I-deck.
Room 2: Our gorgeous king size double room comes with an en suite double shower room and a WC. You can enjoy the luxury of a four poster bed and a wide triple Venetian window with stunning views over Beechen Cliff, Claverton Down and rooftops. Facilities include a Freesat TV, DVD player and DAB radio with an I-deck. This large room also includes an extra single room to make a triple.
We offer a magnificent breakfast using excellent ingredients. Every Saturday we get our ingredients from the farmers’ market to ensure you receive the tasty produce. Bacon is also delivered to the door by Francis ‘Bacon’ from Temple Cloud.
Bath is renowned for its impressive architecture and Roman remains. The city also has 40 museums, good restaurants, a range of shops and theatres. Lots of superb attractions can be enjoyed while staying with us:
