The Iona offers award-winning guest accommodation, close to Torquay seafront on the beautiful Devonshire coast. It is a fantastic place to stay for both business and leisure guests, with much care and attention put into both the rooms on offer and the service provided. Our guest house is in a peaceful, tree-lined street and is easy walking distance to the harbour, main shopping area and conference centre. We are a fantastic base from which to explore the English Riviera.
All our guest rooms are individually decorated and furnished. They provide a restful place to relax at the end of the day and include all the amenities you would expect from a 4 Star property. Room amenities include:

Torquay is an all year round holiday destination. The famous seven hills provide a beautiful backdrop for the lively harbour and marina, bustling shopping centre and beautiful sandy beaches. Torquay has lots to see and do during your stay - long or short!
Holidays in Torquay can be spent relaxing on one of the marvellous beaches and soaking up the sun, or if you prefer something a little more energetic there is yachting, windsurfing, water skiing, swimming, tennis, golf or bowls. There is something for everyone on the English Riviera. At dusk, the bay glitters in the breathtaking illuminations which herald the start of an exciting nightlife with a sophisticated variety of entertainment.
Although the Torbay area has a wealth of things to see and do you may like to venture a little further afield. Why not take the steam train ride down to Kingswear, hop on the ferry and spend a day exploring the winding streets of Dartmouth. This historic naval town has a whole host of quaint little shops and coffee bistros where you can while away the hours.
