Overcombe House is an award-winning guest house, nestled within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. We are just a short drive from Tavistock and Yelverton in Horrabridge. Guests can choose from one of our eight, en suite rooms. All of which have been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, ensuring an enjoyable stay is had by all. The breakfast room and several of our bedrooms have stunning views across Dartmoor towards North Hessary Tor and Leather Tor. All rooms include:

Two of our bedrooms are on the ground floor, one of which has been specially adapted for the less mobile visitor. The en suite has a wheelchair accessible shower, toilet and washbasin and is equipped with both fixed and adjustable grab rails. A stool for the shower and seat riser for the toilet are available on request.
Breakfast is included within our room rate and we pride ourselves on the breakfasts we serve. Wherever we can we like to use local produce and homemade marmalade and jams. Our light and airy sun-filled dining room has wonderful views over Dartmoor and our wildlife garden, ensuring you a relaxing start to your day. Breakfasts at Overcombe House are delicious and a real treat! We believe in serving fresh food using the best ingredients and this is why your cooked breakfast is always prepared to order.
With Dartmoor National Park on our doorstep, our B&B is perfectly placed for a relaxing weekend or mid-week break. Close to Tavistock and Plymouth, there's plenty to see and do for longer stays. Dartmoor is one of the largest and wildest areas of open country in southern England. With heather-covered moorland, deep wooded gorges, lake-like reservoirs and tumbling rocky rivers there’s fantastic walking, cycling and rock climbing and other sports to enjoy. Add in thriving market towns, pretty villages and local farmers and growers producing fantastic local produce and you can appreciate why this is such a great area to explore where you can escape the pressures of the daily grind.
