Fingals is a luxurious country house, nestled in a beautiful part of Devon. Our quirky home from home is a handsome 17th century listed manor house, just a short drive from Dartmouth in Dittisham.
Our award-winning accommodation is perfect for solo travellers, couples, friends and families who are visiting this beautiful part of Devon. We offer a variety of rooms, all of which have been tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, ensuring an enjoyable stay is had by all. Our accommodation comprises of:
The Family Suite – Set on the first floor of the old farmhouse, this is two en suite rooms which are joined by an inter-connecting door. The main room has an extra king size bed, two comfy chairs and a bathroom with walk in shower. The second, slightly smaller room, can be a double or a twin and has a bathroom with shower over. The double room can also be taken just for a couple if our other double is already booked.
The Four-poster Room – This has a wonderful wooden framed bed with white muslin curtains. The mattress is supremely comfortable and is a Vi spring mattress, perfect for snuggling down into. It is so high that you have to climb up into it and then you will have a beautiful, sash window framed, view of the garden to enjoy with your early morning cup of tea. There is an alcove full of books for you to choose something for your bedtime reading. A louvre door leads to the en suite bathroom which has a shower fitting over the bath, basin and WC.
Fingals Barberry Brook - Barberry Brook is the name of the stream it overlooks and is our latest room. Built as our most luxurious hotel bedroom. Self catering facilities available.
