Sissinghurst and Pashley Manor Gardens, Historical sites such as Batemans, the birthplace of Rudyard Kipling, Bodiam and Scotney Castles are all a short drive away while Tenterden is home to the popular Kent and East Sussex steam railway. Of course, our location in the heart of the Kent countryside means that there is an array of wonderful walks for all abilities as well as plenty of cycle routes for those who enjoy a slightly more energetic form of exercise.
