Priory Bay is one of the Isle of Wight’s leading country house hotels. Set within a 60-acre estate, it's period buildings have spectacular views out to sea, with gardens and woodland running down to the bay.
Located between the popular sailing villages of Seaview and Bembridge, the Priory Bay Hotel is an elegant Virginia creeper clad country retreat that has been built upon by medieval monks, Tudor farmers and Georgian gentry — a timeless English beauty.
Each bedroom at Priory Bay is unique. The hotel has three main wings: the Regency Mansion, the Tudor Farmhouse and the Old Kitchen. There are two family rooms located in the main hotel building.
Prinicipal Rooms: Principal rooms are beautifully decorated in unique styles and have an uncluttered country-house feel; dressed in floral or seaside colours, with tongue-and-groove or 15th century panelling: for Shaker style to Elizabethan.
Classic Rooms: All our Classic Rooms are individually decorated with king size beds and white linen sheets, soft furnishings, en-suite bathrooms, views across the hotel grounds, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs with DVD and direct dial telephones.
The Priory Bay Hotel is proud to offer a diverse range of dining experiences. Whether it's a light snack in the bar, a picnic on the beach, lunch or dinner served in either our Priory Oyster Restaurant or in the intimate surroundings of our Island Room.
The Priory Oyster is a relaxed brasserie restaurant where fish and seafood are highlighted.
The Island Room is the perfect room for intimate private parties. Sitting from 12 - 50, chef will prepare a menu to thrill and excite you.
For those who want a little more physical activity, this hotel offers a challenging six-hole golf course and diverse grasslands where one can forage for wild mushrooms and the occasional Penny Bun.
This hotel accommodation is located between the famous sailing towns of Bembridge and Seaview and only a few miles from Portsmouth and Cowes, the area also provides excellent boating and yachting opportunities.
