The Olde Bell is a modern coaching inn, set in historic timber framed buildings providing eating, drinking, gatherings and lodgings. Located only 45 minutes from central London, in East Berkshire, with great access to Henley on Thames, Maidenhead and Marlow. The Olde Bell has 48 bedrooms, a celebrated restaurant and 7 private rooms seating up to 150 people for weddings, parties and meetings.
The Olde Bell offers a style of meeting unique from any other. The inn is adaptable and social, allowing flexibility and creativity, encouraging your employees to think differently away from a standard corporate environment.
Come mid-week, The Malt House and The Tithe Barn, both on the grounds of The Olde Bell, are a hive of corporate gatherings.
The Olde Bell is not a hotel where the bedrooms available dominate, but where the common spaces are the heartbeat of the place. The buildings function almost like a village in itself; the main building for the overnight guests and locals, and the auxiliary buildings for private gatherings. The kitchen uses home grown, seasonal produce served with a generosity of spirit in both flavour and portions. With parts of the inn dating back to 1135 and with nooks, crannies and crooked floors - The Olde Bell offers traditional hospitality in an environment which is human, warm and social.
The Olde Bell is a re-invention of the traditional English Inn – providing eating, drinking and lodgings. At The Olde Bell, we provide honest creature comforts: sumptuous mattresses and pure cotton sheets. The Olde Bell has five separate buildings with bedrooms all crafted by award winning designer Ilse Crawford. All of our bedrooms are ensuite and have complimentary Wi-Fi.
The Olde Bell is classified as a 5 star Inn by the AA Hotel Guide, has been awarded 2 Rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide.
The Olde Bell's kitchen team serve simple, rustic, fantastic quality food which displays a generosity of spirit in both flavour and portions. Serving dishes such as braised belly of Dingley Dell pork, chorizo, spaetzle, wilted spinach and crisp Gressingham duck leg confit, jersey royal and watercress salad.
Marlow & Henley-on-Thames are a stones throw away. The historic town of Marlow is great for the family and has many beautiful riverside restaurants and shops.
