The Mill House Hotel offers its guests beautiful guest accommodation and has a fantastic reputation for high quality food and attentive service. The hotel is situated in a pretty village of Tynet in Buckie, Morayshire and provides an ideal base from which to explore this stunning area of Scotland.
Our guest rooms are laid out over 2 floors with the ground floor level offering wheelchair access. All the rooms have been fitted out to a high standard with our customer comfort in mind and free Wi-Fi is available in the bar, receptions and most bedrooms. We have 18 flexible rooms to choose from. Family and triple rooms are available. During your stay with us, you can sample our wonderful a la carte cuisine, enjoy a tasty bar meal or snack and relax in our bar. Why not treat yourself to a night in our luxurious 5 Star Tynet Suite, complete with large Jacuzzi bath and double shower.
This is an ideal choice of venue for your wedding. The country location, rustic charm of the building and modern interior refurbishment coupled with top quality cuisine will ensure your wedding is a day to remember. We have a choice of packages available tailored to suit your individual needs, with small rooms catering for up to 40 people and our function room can cater for up to 120. We also have the facility to provide a marquee in our grounds for weddings up to 300. The hotel also has a separate licensed ceremony room should you wish to get married at the venue as well. We also have a function suite and meeting rooms available.
High quality food is prepared by the chefs from Moray’s No1 seafood restaurant The 1629. Our menus are changing all the time, we have a tasty bar menu or a fantastic la carte selection, along with weekly specials featuring traditional Scottish dishes, locally sourced seafood and steaks. The restaurant has quickly gained a reputation locally for high quality food with an excellent choice of dining experiences
The Mill House Hotel enjoys a rural setting on the A98 yet only just over 2 miles to the fishing port of Buckie, the village of Fochabers and the River Spey Estuary. With the area being renowned for its mild climate, there is an opportunity for the enjoyment of many outdoor activities. Within reasonable driving distance are many other interests such as Elgin Cathedral Pluscarden Abbey, Brodie, Cawdor, Duffus Castle, Spynie Palace, Baxter's of Speyside, Strathspey Steam Railway, Malt Whisky Trail, Falconry Centre in Huntly and the Fishing Heritage Museum in Buckie.
