Brander Lodge Hotel & Bistro is a family run hotel that thrives on its homely and relaxed atmosphere, Set back from the road in 3 acres of ground you really can relax and enjoy yourself.
Once inside you will be welcomed with a warm smile and instantly made to feel like one of the family, whether you’re on business or pleasure on your own or in a group nothing is too much trouble at The Brander Lodge.
Here at the Brander Lodge we have 21 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities two of which are two roomed family rooms. The bedrooms have been modernized to a comfortable standard offering new king sized comfortable beds which can be split to make a twin room, luxurious bed-linen set Scandinavian style, flat screen TVs and complimentary amenities.
The rooms are serviced daily to ensure your room is fresh each day.
As standard our rates include a full Scottish breakfast where you can choose from a traditional cooked, porridge, cereal and fruit to start your day. There are many areas to help you enjoy your stay including the cozy lounge with its wood burner where you can find books newspapers and games or you can just sit and look at the surrounding mountains where you can spot the local Scottish wildlife.
Travel cots and Z beds are available on request and must be confirmed in advance.
In the hotel is the bistro a casual dining area for residents, visitors and locals alike, with its EatScotland award The Bistro is the soul of the hotel offering fresh local dishes made from the very best local produce all served to suit the taste buds of the individual, there is also a bar snack menu which you may also order from offering a lighter option and as we make our dishes fresh so we can cater for every dietary need with prior notice.
When you arrive for your meal we will take you to the comfy lounge for pre dining drinks from our bar with its local ales and a fine selection of over 70 malts, You can then relax and survey a menu that includes tradition Scottish dishes before we seat you in the Bistro to a generously portioned meal. To accompany your dining there is a well stocked wine list carefully selected to mirror the Bistro menu and to finish, an ample supply of freshly ground coffee and Liqueurs. All this together with our friendly service makes dining at the Bistro an experience not to miss.
The hotel can offer an accompanied hike to the summit of various Munros, Stobs and Meall’s these are usually a days hike with food & drink and a photo journal for the day provided and can cater for complete beginners to the experienced. Please ask on room booking to discuss and arrange this service and the costs involved.
