The Dorrington is a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Halstead, Essex. As well as offering a place to rest and relax, it also has a restaurant and bar which is open to both residents and non-residents called The River Table Lounge.
All guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay is had by all. The rooms are in three separate developments and are competitively priced. Rooms comprise of “The Trinity Rooms”, “The Dorrington Rooms” and “The Stables”. All rooms are en suite, have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is included with the room rate, please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
Our large modern bar has an extensive range of drinks and an ever-changing selection of real ales. The bar is available free of charge for party hire and functions, making it the perfect place to hold weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties and many other types of celebration.
Halstead is a rural market town in Essex and the winner of The Anglia in Bloom awards on several occasions. We are five miles from the historic Hedingham Castle and seven miles from The Chapel Railway Museum which also regularly host beer & cider festivals in its spectacular setting.
