Langley Castle Hotel is a 14th Century castle nestling in the Northumbrian valley of the South Tyne. Built-in 1350, during the reign of Edward III, the castle has retained its architectural integrity and is regarded as one of the few medieval fortified castle hotels in England.
The twenty-seven guest rooms, all with private facilities, are luxuriously appointed. Many castle bedrooms have private features such as a four-poster bed and a window seat set in the 7ft thick castle walls. Although the castle itself was built in 1350, the sauna and spa bath in some rooms mean that your stay with us won't be memorable for the privations of medieval times, but for the comfort of the 21st Century without its pressures.
CastleView and the CastleView Lodge are conversions and extension of other listed buildings within the grounds, commanding magnificent views of the castle itself.
Some rooms are interconnecting or adjoining and many can be adapted for families. Two are disabled accessible.
