Escape to the Cottage Lodge, a small and friendly hotel offering five star unobtrusive service in the heart of the New Forest National Park village of Brockenhurst. Cottage Lodge is just a few minutes from open forest, lovely pubs, the railway station and cycle hire. The location of our hotel means that you are in the middle of everything but just a few minutes away from a timeless forest.
The original parts of Cottage Lodge date from 1650. So be aware that some of the doorways and ceilings in the oldest parts of the building are a little low.
Start your New Forest getaway with us by choosing your stay in one of our 16 individually designed cosy rooms. Some of our rooms feature unique handmade 4 poster beds or headboards originating from fallen trees that once stood in the forest. All of them have comfortable beds, great wi-fi, tea & coffee facilities, an in room safe and a flat screen tv.
If you are planning on bringing any canine companions 2 of our rooms are dog friendly. Please note these must be booked specifically before arrival.
Your booking includes a freshly prepared breakfast every morning of your stay using locally sourced ingredients. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and dairy free diets are happily catered for. Please advise us of any other dietary requirements.
A reserved parking space will also be allocated for your vehicle.

We are conveniently situated for public transport links with Brockenhurst station on the main London Waterloo line – Weymouth.
