Lamberden House is in a stunning part of Kent, within High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within a short drive, you can reach a range of attractions, making us the perfect place to stay for those who want a break away from the stresses of modern-day living, whilst still being within easy reach of places of interest.
Upon arrival at Lamberden House, we hope you feel relaxed. We want guests to feel like they are staying at a home from home. Our accommodation comprises of:
Large en suite room with super king-size bed (convertible to twin beds). This room also has a sofa allowing a young family to be accommodated.
Large double room. A single bed can be added to this room for families.
Single room.
All rooms have a TV, refreshments tray with tea/coffee and Wi-Fi internet access.
In addition to forming part of the bed and breakfast, this delightful self-contained annexe to the house has a small kitchen and dining areas and may be booked for short stays of four days, a week or any other period by agreement.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the extensive gardens which has plenty of seating areas. We also have an outside swimming pool which is lovely in the summer.
Sandhurst is perfect for exploring the world-famous gardens (Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Pashley Manor), and the attractive market towns (Tenterden, Cranbrook and ancient cinque port of Rye) - all within a 15 minute drive. In the same range are the castles at Sissinghurst, Bodiam and Scotney, and (a little further afield) Leeds, Ightham Mote and Hever. Similarly, Churchill's Chartwell is only an hour's drive away, as are the cities of Canterbury and Brighton.
