Greenacres B&B is in a beautiful part of Dorset, within a 12 acres small-holding in Marshwood, near Bridport. For those who want a break away to a peaceful location, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of modern-day living, we are the ideal place to stay.
We have two guest rooms available, both of which enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside. One of bedrooms has en suite facilities and the other room has private bathroom facilities across the hall. Room amenities include:
Double beds (one of which can be split to make two single beds).
Wi-Fi internet access.
SKY TV.
Complimentary toiletries.
Tea & coffee making facilities.
For those who want to stay somewhere unique, we also have a converted railway wagon "van" available. It was used as a fruit and veg van on the Weymouth line.. This has been completely restored and offers a self-contained place to rest and relax. The wagon can sleep up to two adults and two children. Its a lovely romantic place to stay for couples, with stargazing opportunities. We also have caravan pitches available on our CL Certified site.
Breakfast is included within the room rate and is made using locally sourced produce where possible. In the land surrounding our B&B, we keep sheep, lambs, pigs, ducks and hens. This means that you can enjoy our own 'homegrown' bacon, sausages, and freshly laid eggs for your breakfast. Don't worry - we also cater for non-meat eaters as well! Our B&B is surrounded by beautiful hills and wildlife and we are only a few miles from the world heritage Jurassic Coastline, with lovely walks over Golden Cap.
Our bed and breakfast accommodation is a short journey from the famous Jurassic coast, with its spectacular scenery, coastal towns and villages, and fossil collecting sites. We are an excellent choice for a B&B near the Dorset Coast.
