The Spinney offers award-winning accommodation in Shirwell near Barnstaple. We boast spectacular views of the North Devon landscape and offer luxurious facilities.
Our magnificent property dates from 1750 and sits in an acre of grounds. We have 5 elegant rooms available which provide a truly lavish experience. Four of the rooms have en suite facilities and one has a private bathroom. All the room enjoys glorious views over the farmland and rolling countryside. The cosy snug comes with a toasty wood burner and seating area, a lovely place to relax after a day exploring the local area. Playing cards, board games or puzzles and a selection of books are available to borrow. You are welcome to take breakfast or an afternoon tea in our recently restored conservatory. A perfect spot to enjoy a piece of lemon drizzle, made using home grown lemons.
We offer a quality breakfast using the freshest local ingredients. We also cater for vegetarian and vegan options. Fresh bread is baked using freshly ground spelt.
