Farthings dates from 1797 and today provides beautiful accommodation whilst retaining original character. It is located just outside the village centre of Shaldon. This is a great base for exploring the local area and the South West Coastal Path. The historic holiday town of Teignmouth is directly across the Teign estuary, linked by a bridge and a regular ferry from Shaldon river beach. Exeter and Torquay are also within easy travelling distance.
There are 2 double bedrooms - 1 of which is en suite and a twin room available. They all include a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A delicious full English breakfast is on offer as well as other options including kippers, smoked haddock and porridge.
Outside is a pretty cottage garden.
The quaint historic village of Shaldon includes shops, traditional pubs and plenty of places to eat.
Farthings is close to a range of attractions including Dartmoor National Park, Shaldon Wildlife Trust & Labrador Bay.
