Ardanaiseig Hotel is situated in a quiet place of undisturbed tranquility and almost surreal natural beauty, where the slopes of Ben Cruachan fall into the clear waters of loch Awe. Our romantic and luxurious old country house is an ideal base from which to explore Argyll and the Highlands, as well as being just a shorty drive from Kilchrenan and Taynuilt where there are local amenities.
At our hotel every guest bedroom has been individually designed, combining statement pieces of antique furniture with carefully selected accessories and bold decor. Whether you are looking for a four poster bed and views over the loch or an intimate hideaway with garden access, the choice is entirely yours.
The hotel is firmly established as a food lover's hotel. The Medaille D'Or winning gourmet meals never fail to delight. What better place to dine than at Good Hotel Guide’s Most Romantic Hotel of The Year 2017 which is idyllically positioned with views to the loch.
You won’t find any stuffiness or silly rules at Ardanaiseig. We welcome families with open arms and the hotel is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Book into several rooms in the main house as part of a ‘Family Package’; or stay in the Rose Cottage, which is a lovely self contained two bedroom cottage set in the hotel’s beautiful garden.
