Mortons House Hotel is located in the stunning village of Corfe Castle in Dorset. In recent years, Mortons House has been declared 'Small Hotel of the Year’ and in addition, received a Silver Award for 'Accessible Accommodation’(South West Tourism). Our hotel is a great base from which to explore the beautiful Jurassic Coast or as a venue for a wedding, party, special occasion or simply lunch or dinner.
The Elizabethan Room:
Beautiful spacious suite in the original part of the Manor House with original four poster, lounge area, spa bath and dressing room. Ideal for any special occasion!
Double or Twin Bedded Rooms:
Each individually decorated with its own unique style and charm. Some are located in the original manor and some have Castle views. All have private bathroom, television, tea and coffee making facilities and quality courtesy products.
The Dacombe Rooms:
Separate to the main hotel are four spacious rooms, individually built within the pretty walled garden.
Benefiting from all the facilities of the other rooms and in addition a 32" flat screen TV, they are situated in the quietest corner of the grounds and all have a shower-only "wet" room.
The Purbeck Suite:
Garden suite with an attractive double bedroom and separate lounge
The Loft Room:
Located in the eaves of the house, this double en suite bedroom and separate lounge with lovely views of the Castle and heaps of character. Often used as a family suite.
Mortons House is proud of the commendations received for its traditional English cuisine.
It has held a prestigious second AA Rosette since November 2002.
The restaurant menu is supported by an excellent wine list. Private dining for up to 22 persons can also be made available in the beautiful Castle Room.
Swanage, Studland, Wareham, Lulworth, Durdle Door, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage Steam Railway, Chesil Beach, Poole, Sandbanks and many more delights are all within easy reach.
